Corona is still uncontrollable in 33% of the districts of the country, including 16 districts of Rajasthan and Narsinghpur of Madhya Pradesh
The second wave of Corona has weakened. The cases coming daily for the last two days have also come around 60 thousand. Cases are also decreasing rapidly in the states. At present, there are only four states where there are more than one lakh active cases, but when we go to the district level, the picture looks a little different.
Of the total 734 districts in the country, 33% i.e. 245 are those where the positivity rate is more than 5%. That is, according to WHO, the infection in these districts is still uncontrollable. Out of these 245 districts, there are 114 districts where the infection rate is more than 10%.
There are 9 districts where the positivity rate is more than 50%. Of these, 6 are from Arunachal Pradesh, two from Nagaland and one from Meghalaya. In Kurung Kumey district of Arunachal, all the people who have been tested in the last 7 days, they have all been found positive. That is, there is a 100% positivity rate here. Another special thing- Not a single RT-PCR test has been done in this district. All tests are antigen same.
15 districts where not a single case has come since 7 days
The positivity rate has come down to less than 1% in 252 ie 34% districts of the country. Of these, 15 have become zero. Not a single case has been reported in these 15 districts for the last seven days. Nine of these districts are from Telangana. Three are from Arunachal Pradesh, two from Nagaland and one from Andaman and Nicobar district.
Not a single district in 9 states where the positivity rate is more than 5%
Corona is completely under control in 9 states and union territories including UP, Bihar and Delhi. There is not a single district where the positivity rate is 5% or more. In Uttar Pradesh, only Kanpur city is the only district where the positivity rate is more than 1%. In the remaining 74 districts, it is less than 1%.
In Bihar too, Patna, Darbhanga, Supaul and Purnia are the only districts with more than 1% positivity rate. At the same time, except New Delhi in Delhi, the positivity rate has come down to less than 1% in the rest of the ten districts. Apart from these three states, the positivity rate is less than 5% in all the districts of Punjab, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep and Andaman Nicobar.
